Wax Composition: Consists of Refined Paraffin waxes, Microcrystalline Waxes and Color Pigments. These components impart the performance properties of modern sealing waxes when compared to original formulas– the wax is more viscous, denser and tackier. It has a higher melting point and is, in general, more elastic and adhesive. This is why this modern waxes work so much better with stamping, retaining a good impression and being adhesive during the mailing process.
This wax is non-flammable and safe for transport.
Modern Sealing Waxes are:
• FDA certified for Direct Food Contact (Glue Gun and Bead Wax only).
• Non Toxic as long as not ingested
• Vegan - the wax is not animal derived and not tested on animals
They are NOT:
• biodegradable or recyclable
• Natural
CAUTION: When working with sealing wax, please exercise caution and care in the use of this product, especially with an open flame. Sealing wax is not recommended for use by young children without adult supervision.

These seem to be plastic rather than wax. Not a problem, but I prefer wax like the ?old? days.
I love this wax, because it doesn't break in the mail!

I have tried many different types of sealing waxes prior to trying Nostalgic Impressions but nothing compares to the quality of this wax! I am beyond impressed with how quickly the sealing wax forms and the overall quality it produces once stamped! You will not be disappointed when using this wax!

it was perfect
The wax did look great but the wick did not burn great and often went out. Because we had trouble keeping it lit and the flame stayed quite low the wax melted slowly and by the time we had enough wax on the envelope it had started to harden which made stamping difficult.
I send wax with seal to match the bride's color scheme

I was accidently shipped the wrong color; but Nostalgic Impressions kindly mailed me the correct color (at no extra cost) and allowed me to keep the in correct color. I am extremely impressed

wax is very easy to use, and has a lovely finish.
The wax looks absolutely fantastic and works just as described. I have sent several letters and the recipients say that the seal remained intact and very legible by the when they received it. Would definitely buy more.

I am unable to rate this wax because I haven't tried it yet. The color is very pretty though.
